Because on Pinterest there are complex art images and images that require intense review, the image review takes long and overloads the system and causes all the images to have to wait longer for all of the users.

Therefore these images are submitted for review only based upon availability and may take longer to return from the review.

Note:

1. The pictures will always receive a 'sent for review' icon - even if in reality they still haven't been sent.
2. Previously opened/blocked pictures will remain as defined when reviewed.
