Background

Garmin watches and cycling computers connect to the internet to upload information about activities and physical metrics to Garmin connect, as well as to download courses created or saved on the platform by the user.
The initial connection of a watch/cycling computer and its pairing to a Garmin Connect account can be done via a computer using the Garmin Express software. After the device is paired to the account, if the device has Wi-Fi, data can be synchronized to/from Garmin Connect directly from the device via the network without the need to physically connect it to a computer.

Works on NetFree

  • The Garmin Connect website; including editing and searching courses, settings, etc.
  • Garmin Express software; including syncing and pairing devices to a Garmin Connect account, searching for and installing updates on devices.
  • Garmin Connect synchronization directly from the device via Wi-Fi; including downloading courses sent to the device, uploading activity/course/metric data.

No special action is required to use Garmin on NetFree (of course, the security certificate must be installed on the computer, as usual).
